For Memorial Day, my
parents put together a little family vaca in southern Utah. We had an
amazing time! Richard wasn't able to come because he has boards this
summer and needed to stay home and study...boo. We were both really bummed. I tried to talk him
into coming to the point of making him mad, however he held strong and stayed home.
He just kept saying, "There will be other trips." Here is a
little run down of our events.
Day 2: St. George – met up
with the hubbies, golf, shopping, movie (“What to Expect When You Are Expecting”)…funny
but honestly frightened me a little
Day 3: Zion’s National Park – floating down
the river (haven’t laughed that hard in a long time and yes, I was authorized to do this pregnant and all), hiked a few trails, lazy
night at condo watching a movie "The Reality of Love". Have you seen it? I wouldn't suggest it unless you like ABC family films and "A Walk to Remember".
It was kinda cold that day, especially after getting out of the river. Thus, the towels used as blankets on the hikes. I love this picture of my dad. Hilarious.
Day 4: Tennis, golf,
shopping, birthday dinner for Dad
We had a really good time and I can't wait to do it again. Thanks Mom and Dad for planning everything! Now I'm back to work and don't have any time off until the baby is born. Jealous...I thought so.
